iPad 101 is for those who are not currently iPad savvy and wish to become more familiar with basic use and apps. Time will be spent on how to make use of the iPads in French. Participants will also receive a list of recommended apps.

Pic Collage: This is a basic demonstration of how students can use Pic Collage to demonstrate their learning on a variety of topics. Learn how to add pictures and text as a way of sharing knowledge as an alternative to paper and pencil.

A Paper-less Workflow for teaching and assessment, using an iPad: Bryon Carpenter
Room 220 w/ iPads
Bryon will discuss some of his current practices, using an iPad for a paper-less workflow in a classroom environment. Paper-less, as opposed to paperless (or free of paper), refers to the reduction of the volume of paper that crosses a teacher’s desk. PDF annotation apps, PDF capture, assignment submissions and mirroring software using an iPad will be discussed.
